The Official Search For UFOs That Attacked Brazilians With ‘Light Beams’ In 1977

Operation Saucer: The Official Search For UFOs That Attacked Brazilians With ‘Light Beams’ In 1977

    8 March 2016

While alien hunters concentrate their energies on pictures from Mars or the top secret Area 51 base in Nevada, an island in central America was the location of a spate of UFO sightings that was officially investigated by Brazilian officials.

‘Operation Saucer’ was an investigation into a terrifying series of reported incidents in 1977 where residents in the Brazilian city of Colares claimed that they not only witnessed flying saucers - but they were also being attacked by them.

Bright objects of differing shapes, sizes and colours were said to have been flying at low altitudes - just a few metres above the tops of trees - and firing light beams at people on the ground below.

Several witnesses claimed to have seen beings piloting the crafts, describing them as no more than three to four feet tall.

What separates these sightings from the usual glimpses of UFOs in the skies are the numerous and recurring injuries that people suffered.

The beams gave off intense beams of radiation that caused puncture marks and lesions, with some reporting to local media at the time that it felt like a “heavy weight pushed against their chest”.

A report into the claims made by the victims stated: “The beam was about seven or eight centimetres in diameter and white in colour.

“It never hunted for them but hit them suddenly. When they tried to scream no sound would come out, but their eyes remained open.

“The beam felt hot, almost as hot as a cigarette burn.”

Describing the injuries, Doctor Wellaide Cecim Carvalho - who worked in a health care unit in the area during the 1970s - wrote: “All of them had suffered lesions to the face or the thoracic area.

“The lesions, looking like radiation injuries, began with intense reddening of the skin in the affected area.

“Later the hair would fall out and the skin would turn black. There was no pain, only a slight warmth.

“One also noticed small puncture marks in the skin. The victims were men and women of varying ages, without any pattern.”

The saucers were quickly dubbed ‘chupa-chupa’ - meaning ‘sucker-sucker’ - and with reports of more sightings and more incidents of people being injured or losing blood, panic soon started to set in and women and children left the area while local men stayed to look after their homes or possessions.

In a so called enlightened age, when humanity sends spacecraft out into what used to be called the heavens, we still have people who think that homo sapiens and life on earth are the only life forms created.

Why does NASA and others keep looking out into space for answers, send messages out there in the hope of an answer from someone else at least as intelligent as us, keep coming up with footage of strange anomalous structures on the moon and at the edge of our atmoshere?

    Because the stuff's there.

No amount of derision and almost hysterical laughter (a panic reaction, much the same as the 9/11 inside job denialists' response), trying to be in the 'in' club of denialists is going to stop the flow of information about these craft spotted flying around.

Safer for denialists to believe what the fearful masses believe in and ignore anything that's out of the square. To lose faith in archaic sky fairies and compassionate government as ultimate powers over all on this planet, is just too much for those living in their insulated structured social cocoons, who will not see reality, ever.

UFOs will continue to be seen and reported, much of what has already been recorded are earth based craft, advanced technology that's been going on for years, all government fostered and funded.

Which is one reason why governments don't deny the existence of some of these advanced craft, in fact they don't say anything, they just set up committees to look into reported sightings, then don't release the results of their findings.

They also spend a lot of time money and effort in developing craft that bear a striking resemblance to reported anomalous sightings.

    Plenty to back it up.

Mostly its what people choose to believe, regardless of observable phenomena, that dictates current views on UFOs.

One thing for sure, you won't see one unless you're looking up at the sky instead of at your cell/phone/i-pad/etc......blind as a bat to external reality.

1977 was a busy year for UFOs.

"In 1977 one Mrs. Fowler was walking in the area and claims to have perceived “a flying saucer hovering just one foot above the ground”, which she describes as being a silvery “hat” shape with white light or windows in a circle around the middle and a red cone of flame connecting it to the earth. She claims it floated next to a rocky outcrop for a time before it slowly began to rotate and suddenly shot straight into the air with a flash and then vanished altogether. Mrs. Fowler described this in terms of a craft taking off, but it is equally possible that it represented some misperceived and scarcely understood electrical phenomenon dubbed “earthlights” by fortean researchers.
The 1977 sighting was merely a prelude to a spate of reports of such activity in the area between Wyke and Lightcliffe in October and November 1981 which has since become known to the ufological community as the Wyke Woods Flap. These accounts tended to involve several balls of light which often split into a greater number and often seemed to repel each other, causing them to dance around the sky accompanied by a faint humming noise, before either disappearing in a single blinding flash or sinking to the ground. It all culminated in disaster when a bus driver crashed his vehicle at Hell Fire Corner on November 1st and sustained serious injury, claiming he had seen a smoky white light over the woods."

    This just in:
Faerries and gnomes have been spotted frolliking in the grass of Mr.G's backyard.
It would not be so bad but the Lepraecans (sp), very territorial little buggers, have obtained a drone and they're wreaking havoc on my roses and smoking all my...weeds.

Anyway, this is a fact. I've seen them, and unless you can prove otherwise, they might be coming to your yard.
The three great strategies for obscuring an issue are to introduce irrelevancies, to arouse prejudice, and to excite ridicule....---Bergen Evans, The Natural History of Nonsense.
