    Strange comparison.

Is it saintly to take millions of dollars in donations and then deliberately and willfully keep the people that it was intended for in terrible conditions and suffering? Not in my book.

And Cyrille Regis more so than Joey Barton.

How is either fact remotely relevant, exactly?

The biggest miracle of the lot would be if they found an RC priest who wasn't a kiddy fiddler.

Brendan Smyth (8 June 1927 – 22 August 1997) was a Roman Catholic priest who became notorious as a child molester, using his position in the Roman Catholic Church to obtain access to his victims. During a period of over 40 years, Smyth sexually abused and indecently assaulted over 143 children in parishes in Belfast, Dublin and the United States. His actions were frequently hidden from police and the public by Roman Catholic officials. Controversy surrounding his case brought about the downfall of the government of Republic of Ireland in December 1994

    isn't he just.

Watched The Sisters of Magdilin the other night and the story of 3 girls who were taken into the covent/workhouses.
How on earth they got away with that place in Dublin until 1996 beggars belief.
    Hell on earth.

Yea the evil walk among us dressed as respectable.

Mother theresa could have done more to ease the suffering of the sick but Image was more important. The more grisly the place looked, the happier she was.

Imagine meeting them 2 on the way to heaven.

Philomena is another film about a girl who was sent off to the workhouse, and her baby was taken from her.

The Magdalene Sisters was an eye opener - especially that it went on for so long. I bought the DVD years ago. There was a second DVD in the box, which was an interview with the real women who the film was about. That was heartwrenching to watch.

I have no sentiments on what the Catholics want to do about Mother Teresa, sainthood or not.

Well, that will be yet another official holiday here for this year - and a traffic mess for the inevitable processions.....and Teresa to be the top name for female newborns.
