I have attended many St George Day Balls in Bangkok and they were always great fun with a bunch of people who really respected the event.

Far better then a religious day festival with no possibility of a terrorist attack.

With the help of the Holy Spirit, Mary Mother of our Lord , and Jehovah ( God )
This Saint chased all the snakes into the sea, creating eels.

back in the day the snake was symbolic of man's pride and joy.

do believe St Patrick came from the East Midlands.
brought to Ireland as a slave, escaped only to return to shag sheep.
