Christ you're stupid. It's not an "exaggeration", it's a bald-faced lie. One that this talking head asshole has perpetuated in interviews for years. It amazes me that you can operate a computer.................

It goes against his way of thinking, simple. He calls the conspiracy nut statement as many do simply because it is hard to accept.

How many alternative media agencies 5 plus years ago commented on the following?

Cameras to installed in TVs and other devices to monitor your behavior.
People called conspiracy because the US people would never allow their constitution to be infringed upon! Fourth amendment I believe. Yet here we are and it is being accepted by the people that said it would never happen. A new era of terrorism is it? Better for our security is it? Useful idiots tend to change their tune when the mainstream plays the latest song!

Forced inoculation would never be accepted by the US and UK people alike. No school for your kid sir! Here we are again. And more annoyingly we have people who have taken injections for measles and similar whose kids have caught measles only a few days later. And stupidly they blame it on the people who haven't been injected. I'm sorry, but isn't the inoculation supposed to protect you? Sorry to quote Dr. Mercola, but "read the insert"

Let's face it, the list is endless with shit that the American people would never allow, and the Brits for that matter, but you're sold on the coolness of the technology or that it's better for your protection or a new era of infections.

Kids are your won are they? Or do they belong to the state and a wider community as was quoted recently. Never, pure bullshit!

I'll happily be called a nut job, cos should the shit ever hit the fat, and I hope it doesn't, I won't go begging to the government for help. As far as I'm concerned, the safety of my family is in my hands, not the government!

I've digressed from the subject, but when people are intentionally being divided by false paradigm such as the left and right, the power over the people will always remain with corporate government, and not the people.
You bullied, you laughed, you lied, you lost!

Just out of curiosity : If the U.S. Government intends to put cameras in everyones televisions to monitor then . Who will be doing the monitoring ?
Half the population would be watching TV and the other half would be watching those watching TV, then they could all change shift .
You have been watching me, now , you go home and its my turn to watch you .

A super computer will do it, in the same way that the supercomputer catches everything you say and type on your phone trying to pick out the best time to drop a drone bomb on your house.

Did Brian Williams lie about his Hurricane Katrina experience too

MORE heroic tales of Brian Williams’ adventures in journalism are being questioned.
The NBC news anchor, who apologised on Wednesday for telling a false story about taking fire in a helicopter while covering Iraq, is being called out for possibly lying about his experience covering Hurricane Katrina, according to a report.
US TV NEWS ANCHOR APOLOGISES FOR IRAQ FIB
Williams claimed to have gotten dysentery from drinking flood water and seeing dead bodies float past his hotel in the New Orleans French Quarter while covering Hurricane Katrina.
However the The New Orleans Advocate noted that the French Quarter was not flooded and quoted a local health expert who did not recall anyone getting such a stomach ailment.

Williams recalled his bout with the bug in interview with Tom Brokaw last year, when he said: “I accidentally ingested some of the floodwater. I became very sick with dysentery,”
The Advocate said a public health official never heard of people getting things like dysentery after the storm.

“I don’t recall a single, solitary case of gastroenteritis during Katrina or in the whole month afterwards,” Dr. Brobson Lutz told The Advocate.
“I don’t know anybody that’s tried that [drinking flood water] to see, but my dogs drank it, and they didn’t have any problems.”
Williams said also during an interview in 2006 that he saw dead bodies float past his window in the French Quarter.
“When you look out of your hotel window in the French Quarter and watch a man float by face down, when you see bodies that you last saw in Banda Aceh, Indonesia, and swore to yourself that you would never see in your country,” Williams said in 2006.
But the French Quarter, the original high ground of New Orleans, was not impacted by the floodwaters that overwhelmed the vast majority of the city, The Advocate said.

He also said in his Brokaw interview: “Our hotel was overrun with gangs, I was rescued in the stairwell of a five-star hotel in New Orleans by a young police officer. We are friends to this day.”
The new revelation came as revered broadcast journalist Tom Brokaw said that Williams should step aside.
In the wake of the humiliating revelation the NBC Nightly News anchor apologised during Wednesday night’s broadcast.
“I made a mistake in recalling the events of 12 years ago … I want to apologise. I said I was travelling in an aircraft that was hit by RPG fire. I was instead in a following aircraft,” he said.
Sorry or not, the internet wasn’t about to let the newsman off the hook, and in the hours that followed, the #BrianWilliamsMisremembers meme took flight.

At least there are some excellent memes:

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

If this is what's going on all over the web the bloke is fuked.
    Excellent.
I hope his compatriots and colleagues take note.
    The truth will out.

These lying bastards and the multinational conglomerates that seek to run the world (Murdoch) need to be outed spouted and water boarded. They've destroyed our world.

Where have politeness and good manners, consideration and care gone?

    I despair.

I hate to tell you luckyjim, but rian Williams will weather this storm and use professionals that are experts at mitigating bad press. It happens time and time again with celebrities in the US because everyone has a very short memory.

Brian Williams will continue to give the evening news and his followers will not diminish by any great amount. Just look how these spinmasters have gotten the presidents out of hot water on numerous occasions.

Sorry, but I take all newscasters and stories from the press with a grain of salt. Too many outside influences and politics involved with todays news. Gee really?

Yep...certainly amongst the corporate mainstream circles.

Shouldn't be any surprise that all of the majors have disassembled their "news divisions" and now are overseen by the entertainment sectors.

It's not about news and base information.
It's about ratings, marketing, and advertising revenue.

The need to be in competition with news.

Well why not? They bought a world cup and no-one with any authority seems remotely interested in doing a damn thing about it.

He'll get promoted. His only mistake was owning up. It will be forgotten about soon enough. Its the media way of doing business.

New stories keep popping up. He's now decided to take himself off the air for a few days until people quit ridiculing him. Wonder if he'll be back?

Latest was an interview in which, as a teenager, he claimed to have rescued a puppy from a burning building. In a later interview, it became two puppies, not one. They're going after every story he ever presented. Wonder how a talking head feels being on the other end of it?
