    Iran confirms death of IRGC general in Syrian Golan: TV

    TEHRAN, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) confirmed the killing of one of its generals in an Israeli airstrike on the Golan Heights in Syria that also killed six members of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Press TV reported on Monday.

    "A number of fighters and forces of the Islamic resistance (of Hezbollah) along with Brigadier General Mohammad Ali Allahdadi were visiting the region of Quneitra and were attacked by a military helicopter of the Zionist regime," the IRGC said in a statement on Monday.

    Allahdadi had travelled to Syria to provide consultation and help the Syrian government and nation counter the terrorists. He also gave "decisive" consultation about ways to stop and thwart the Israeli regime's plots and crimes, said the statement.

    It said that the killing of the IRGC general and Hezbollah fighters would strengthen the movement's determination to fight the Israeli regime.

    Earlier reports said that an Israeli helicopter on Sunday fired two rockets from the Israel-occupied Golan Heights toward a southern Syrian town, killing six Lebanese Hezbollah fighters, including several senior commanders of the military group.

    Also, the leader of Hezbollah, Sheikh Hasan Nasrallah, said that any Israeli aggression on Syrian targets would be considered as "targeting the resistance axis (the allies of Iran, Syria and Hezbollah) and retaliation could happen at any time."

    Death of Iranian general brings Tehran back into the heart of Israel's conflict with Hezbollah - Diplomacy and Defense - Israel News | Haaretz
    five additional Iranian officers were killed in the bombing, in addition to Allahdadi and six Hezbollah men.
    This plot entanglement highlights two questions about the decision to carry out the attack. The first concerns the intelligence that preceded the operation: Was Mughniyeh, the commander of Hezbollah’s terror cell on the Golan Heights, the target, or did whoever ordered the air strike on the jeeps know that one of the passengers was an Iranian general? The second question is about the timing of the operation. Was it based solely on an urgent intelligence warning of an immediate operational opportunity, or was Israel’s upcoming election a factor?

    Someone tipped off the Israelis. Hizbollah isn't just the sworn enemy of Israel, but runs a state within a state, in Lebanon. I wouldn't be too surprised if someone in Lebanon provided the travel plans. Knocking off a bigwig of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, another sworn enemy of Israel and the group that threatened to launch missiles against several EU nations, required some intelligence sharing.
    Now, who would tip off the Israelis who would then conveniently knock off the Iranians? Could it be the UAE who have parts of their country occupied by Iran and who dislike them? Might it be Saudi Arabia who are threatening to purchase and deploy their own nuclear weapons if Iran is allowed to continue with its nuclear weapons program?
    Many in Teakdoor assume that all Israelis and Arabs hate each other. When it is mutually beneficial, they can be hot lovers. The Israelis and Kurds have had a long established genuine friendship and the Kurds despite being opponents of ISIS hate the Iranians and Hizbollah just as much. The Gulf Arabs, excluding the Qataris, have quiet relations with Israel, sometimes providing vital information. Or, it could be the Jordanians who dislike Hizbollah and fear the Iranians meddling in their country as much as the Saudis do. Or, maybe John Bull or Uncle Sam tipped off the Judean boys and girls.
    One thing I am certain of, the Israelis couldn't have done it on their own.

    Hezbollah's manifest from its 1985 founding for Shi'ia Islamic radicalism financed by Ayatolla Khomeini's followers to spread the Islamic revolution reads , "Our struggle will end only when Israel is obliterated. We recognize no treaty , no ceasefire, no peace agreements."
    Pretty straight-forward without mincing words. Obliterated...to have utterly destroyed, wiped out , to have made invisible.

    So WTF would any other State do to protect itself...capitulate ?

    Yes, certainly might opens one's eyes that Hezbollah, Syria and Iraq are on the same team.
    Iraq trains, financially supports and supplies weapons to Hezbollah as Syria warehouses and transports said weapons to Hezbollah and all three would have no compunctions against seeing Israel and its citizens obliterated.

    Pretty friggin' embarrasing for Iran to have one of it's Generals mixed in directly on location in the Golan Heights.
    (Almost forgot - must be another Mossad conspiracy that kidnapped the General and forced him at gunpoint onto that location for a meeting....mums the word - fookin' Zionists.)

    Basically by implication alone I'm beginning to understand the State of Israel and its citizens increasing worry about Hezbollah , Syria and the main pillar of support for Israel's annihilation - Iran itself.

    Keep in mind Russia's support for both Iran and Syria. Assuredly , that's a whole other topic, isn't it ?

    Now where did you get that nonsense from?

    Only place that is written is on an Israel translation. They never show the original, and most scholars who have read the original in arabic say it is not there.

    Even wiki puts this disclaimer on it;
    " this text is reportedly in the original Arabic-language manifesto but not in the original translation, nor found on Hezbollah website, according to the pro-Israel, anti-Hezbollah website where the text appears."

    I stand by my earlier words though you are to be commended for your further investigation.

    In reading the wikipedia "Ideology of Hezbollah" I gathered from Reference # 7 "The Hezbollah Program" and under "Necessity for the Destruction of Israel" paragraph 2 that those words probably did appear on the original manifest. Obviously one would argue that the interpretation rendered within the Manifest's "Necessity for the Destruction of Israel" is quite specific.
    They wouldn't really want to be outclassed by Hamas' Charter, would they ?

    Strange that Hezbollah / Hizbollah doesn't maintain any Original Manifest on its own web-sites.
    They prefer the kinder 1996 Hezbollah / Hizbollah translated version placed prior to putting up candidates for the Lebanese Parlimentary elections of 1996. Funny that. Must have some good international attorneys and public relation gurus, eh ?

    Maybe you should have a word with the big boss over at Hizbollah;

    When he released the new and improved manifesto, this is what he said;
    We categorically reject any compromise with Israel or recognizing its legitimacy. This position is definitive, even if everyone recognizes Israel.

    As quoted at Full text of Hezbollah's new political document - Ikhwanweb
    The Official Muslim Brotherhood website.

    Is it ok I offer an approved bonafide western hating, pro terrorism voice of the Islamic world? You are not going to accuse the Muslim Brootherhood who are aligned with Hizbollah of being liars now are you?

    I have a suggestion. You seem quite smitten with all these terrorists and always have an excuse to justify their barbaric acts. Why don't you dash over to Syria and help those refugees who now outnumber the Arabs who identify as Palestinian. They could really use your help right now. It's winter over there and they are cold.

    Not taking sides here, that's damn good intelligence and a profitable strike in terms of the ongoing conflict.
