Just thinking about the numbers of Virgins in Heaven must have run out a long time ago.

It is fascinating how the original Assassins were convinced of this.

A man would be buried up to his neck with his head covered in blood to give the impression he had been decapitated. He would then be ordered, under threat of death, to tell the would-be assassins of the wonderful afterlife that awaited them.

He would, of course, be decapitated shortly afterwards, and his head placed on a pike, to reinforce the deception.

Ah the good old days.
