Adherence to a "faith" (religious, political, social, economic, technological, etc...), by it's very nature, is an expression of extremism. The point at which you abandon the option to be wrong, is the point at which you become wrong.

...this applies as much to Islamofascists, as it does to Grauniad readers: they are different species of bigotry. A faith whose sacrement is to imply that the apostate are bigots is anything but innoculated from being a haven of bigotry.
