Thumbs up Lifesize Hot Wheels double loop the loop record broken

    Sunday 01 July 2012

The X Games in Los Angeles sees two drivers take on a six-story double vertical loop - a life-sized spin-off of the Hot Wheels Double Dare Snare toy racetrack set.

Rally cross competitor and two-time Formula Drift champion Tanner Foust took on Hollywood stunt driver Greg Tracy at the 2012 X Games in Los Angeles.

Both successfully made it through the six-storey loop. There was an additional jump after the exit that both also landed.

The drivers accelerated to 52 mph, entered the 66ft loop, and hit seven times normal gravity.

Foust and Tracy smashed the previous record for the largest loop in a car, set at 42 feet in September 2011 by Chinese driver Li Yatao in a Lotus 5 Sportback for Zhejiang Youngman Lotus Automobile Co., Ltd. in Shanghai.

Breaking the Hot Wheels looping the loop record - Channel 4 News

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

^^I can't see what's so impressive about that, minimal training and anyone could do it surely?

Keep the speed around but above X (67mph I think) and follow the line.

Those lengths of orange track make superb weapons against your siblings. Can raise a welt 10 mm with little effort.
