Saphan Taksin BTS Station is located next to Taksin Bridge near the intersection of Chareon Krung Road.
This is a good place to stop if you want to explore the Chao Phraya River, if you take exit 2 out of Saphan Taksin BTS Station it will lead you to Sathorn Pier where you can get on a boat to explore Bangkok or travel across the river to Wat Arun or Wang Lang Market, prices are extremely cheap and it is a fun way to travel and tour Bangkok, at the pier area you will find maps and the ticket vendors are more than willing to help, more information can be found here on the Chao Phraya Boat website.
