That pub looks basic! Where's the organic food menu?

How much was the Leffe? That'd be getting on for £10 in the Hertford Bell.

Thought of the day: should I buy a Luton football shirt while I'm on my way to the airport to keep me safer in Israel from a random shooting? Would the Israelis even let me into the country wearing a Luton shirt?

I got some message from Israel accom asking for my B2 certificate - I suppose I'd better check what that is and how to get it...

Yeah, but I will be getting a tourist card with the required tourist stamp, on arrival at the airport (I think). The wording from the AirBNB message was misleading/wrong. I've since communicated with them, and I think it's ok. Worst ways, I will pay 17.5% VAT on accom (which as a tourist, you don't need to pay), but I doubt it.

Yes, it's cider. But, I can't understand how they misspelt your name!

You are correct, I don't need a visa - I should get a tourist card and stamp on arrival (either that or kicked out of the country... ).

I'm just sorting out the timing, I'll go to Jerusalem for an Old City tour day (only there for one day, so would prefer a guide); just checking one out, but this looks good: Jerusalem Day Tour from Tel Aviv - Abraham Tours

50/50 on whether to go to the Dead Sea.

Probably won't make it to Masada unless I find Tel Aviv very boring/dislikable.

Only there for 3 nights and 3 plus a bit days, so I don't wanna do too much.

Do you mean open toe'd goat leather sandals or comfortable walking shoes? I thought I'd buy the sandals in Machane Yehuda Market - for some good haggling!

&, you are correct, Mendip - Katie is lovely.

I just got an eSIM to use in Israel, and made sure my UK SIM call roaming is turned OFF.

And probably much quicker done with.

    In conclusion: Pussy !

Access all areas if you get a B2 certificate. If you're a known goat lover, then the place you've booked up normally sends you a reminder to get one.

@betty - you should get some Jesus sandals (like the ones that Mendip has), and of course, show us the evidence!

Btw, I'm curious - how big was your luggage for this trip to the UK/ Israel? In case anyone is wondering why I asked, when I met Bettyboo, he just had a small backpack and that was all his stuff for ~1 week(?) of his trip to PH. Even I (a travel-light person) was surprised! After our meeting, he went to the airport for his flight back to Korea.

And "lovely Katie" thanks you for the compliment. I met Bettyboo for lunch @ Mall of Asia when he visited PH some years ago - it's in his pic thread. He was very prim & a proper gentleman. But maybe it was because we didn't see any goats in the city!

Cheers & enjoy Israel! (I remembered that I could also go there visa-free, because PH voted for Israel's statehood back in the day.)
