The Partial quote button

Are we going to get the partial quote button back.

I've nothing against change but the "multi quote" button is no where near as quick or usefull as the old partial quote button. It slows the reply procces down considerably.

90% of replys are done to a single post, not multiple posts using the muli post button for a single quote is virtually no different than just using the quote button. You have to click on "multi quote", then "reply" wait for the 'reply" screen to load, cut what you dont want out, then post, waiting for the original screeen to come back up.

The partial quote button was quick, efficent and easy to use, seems a bit like change for change sake as you have actuly made the board less user friendly than before.

As you may of guesed I want the old button back

I agree with RC. The partial quote button was more useful than is the multi quote button.

How about a poll?

I must add, though, that the new reputation pop-up is cool. And, in general, the board seems much "snappier" after the upgrade.

As I said in another thread, it is not available at the moment for this version of the forum software. When the 'hack' is written, it'll be back (all being well).

The bb code extensions work well.
i have never used partial quote.

Just go to my post and click on the little scales below the string of green dots. The reputation box will appear.

^ It works but you may have ot make a hard refresh of the page ( Ctrl+F5 ) to force your browser to reload the java script.

Certainly does! I've never used this function before - now I know why some people can post so quickly.

One minor point... why don't we have the time and date of the quoted post? I see that we now have the link to the original post (when you use the normal quote function), but it's also very handy to see just how old a posted quote is, without having to follow the link.

Well. Stroller. I just looked at these posts and none of them tell me how to use the

"Quote" "q-Quote" "+ "or this last one with paper and quill"

Will you or some one please explain in non comp nerd language how to use these four buttons. What is the difference between the four buttons.
