Thread: I've been logged out !!

I only see a box with "remember me" next to it.

I'm getting kicked out every time I try to post in the Captains Lounge.

I get auto. logged out after five minutes or so of inactivity.

Is that gonna happen? How much Yaba you got anyway?

I've been using Firefox to view TD for over a year and never had a problem, but the last month I've been logged out every time I close down Firefox. I knew it wasn't a problem with TD as it still works perfectly well at work and never logs me out.

Anyway, when I looked at the TD cookies I saw that it generates about 6, two of them being the ID and the password. What was happening was the ID and password cookies were being deleted on shutdown even though all the settings were to keep the cookies until they expired a year from now.

I don't know how to solve the above problem without reinstalling FF from scratch, i guess it's either a bug or a conflict with an extension or something like that. But for anyone who's having the same problem there is an extension that can keep you logged in - it's called Cookiesafe

Basically it allows you to control your cookies more closely - so once you've installed it log on to TD and right click on the Cookisafe icon and "view cookies" - find the TD cookies and then protect the ID and password cookies.

Now you should stay logged in to TD as long as those cookies are protected.

^Yep, for some reason my FF has started dealing with cookies differently - maybe it was an update or an extension - but the extension above lets you decide how you want to deal with individual cookies, so with a bit of messing about you should be able to sort it out.
