^ The British won't give my wife a visa because I don't have enough money to show. If I sell the house at least we can be together.Weve been married for three years now and together for five.
Love my house mate, spent a lot of time in the garden.

^ Yep ,even with a sponsor etc! They said I had meager funds and believed I and my family would not support her. Does she look half starved?

I naively, but firmly believe that if you marry somebody then you have the right to at least live with them in either country, the lavishness or otherwise of your existence is sod all to do with anyone.

Have you thought about you going ahead first and securing a job,and then sending for your wife once you have a regular income comeing in?
I know you`ll be apart for sometime, but at least you`ll be able to keep the house in Thailand.
Or you could try and get a tourist visa first, get a job for yourself, then let her go back for a few months and apply for a spouse visa when the money comes in.
I aint superstitious, but I know when somethings wrong
I`ve been dragging my heels with a bitch called hope
Let the undercurrent drag me along.

Yes I know ,we have a few options.

On another note I have just tried to add some pictures of my place on my House For Sale Nr ChiangMai Thread. The first picture went up but when I went to add a second and third they didn't stay up.There was a symbol in the bottom righthand corner of a little green man with a red cross.
Whats all that then? Am I waiting for the mods?

Tell Thai immigration about it, will ye?

European government do have genuine concern, since spouses would be eligible for benefits.
