Right that's how you insert an out side link.

But how do you change it's name to, say, read Google front page?

If you post a link and do no editing, then the vBulletin software will retrieve the name of the page to which you have linked. If you want to change that, just edit your post and change the text between the URL tags.

or type inthe text you want highlight it then click the link button. paste in the link.

click the button with the world on it, paste url in there, click ok, then just type your text, where the text goes is already highlighted so just type.
