    What a weekend of disasters

Went for lunch with some mates Friday, drank too much, like an idiot offered to pay the bill in the restaurant. My loyal friends allowed me too ! Woke up Saturday to find i'd missed the slide in gold, lost plenty. Hangover from hell (should know better at my age) tried a cold shower, shave, then cleaned my teeth, stooped to take a slurp of water from the tap and head-butted the spout, in my right eye. Bloodshot eye looks great.
Wife is out, my turn to feed the chickens, dogs, children. I cook breakfast, my kids decided to pass and go into town and find a cafe. The dogs look indifferent. OK, my mates the chickens, Off i go and call them out and just to check if the electric fence is on before i open the gate, i grab it !! 5000 volts F**k F**k F**k

Sometimes i get the reminder that the biggest threat to harmony in my life is me !

^ what car? He smashed it up while drunk - drove right into a police box and ran off leaving the car there...

Come on, we've all done it. Slaps has done it several times, before breakfast...

    Ahhh peaceful Bangkok !

Whilst its taken me 2 days to get past the hangover, news now creeping in about my behaviour on the Friday .....

Oldest son tells me i owe him £15.00 for the taxi home as i refused to pay the driver, apparently i took great exception to the fact he was a gentleman of Arab decent who spoke very poor English, had no idea where he was going and breath like the devils arsehole. I have also had a telephone call from the taxi company to advise me that the said driver does have a driving licence and did not take his test on a donkey.

I also (i am told) took the dogs out for a walk, to try and sober up a little. Arrived back home 45 mins later with just the one dog, my Labrador arrived 20mins later soaking wet (it wasn't raining) no idea where we went.

I have also agreed to drive 3 friends to the South of France for the Fete des Vendange, I must be nuts, i hate the French..well not all of them just the ones i have met. I dont even drink wine !!!

Fortunately the only comment from my 'leader of the opposition' is that i should not be allowed out on my own in a town where anyone knows who i am.

    I am ashamed..............

Man I have tears almost running down my cheek after reading your story Bower LOLL. And we think we have a bad days some times ,right? I know to well the part about your story with the Arab taxi driver...where I stay in bangkok (Thong Lor) there is a few Arabs peoples that stay in the same apartments. Ok ,probably cause these apartments only cost us residents 700 baths per night, but it is mostly the Arabs who cause the troubles. They sit in their rooms drinking all night and maknig so much noise, while even some times I have seen 4 or 5 of them bring one girl back to their room. I always thought they were gay and i really still think they are ,despite the girl they bring once.

Anyways, one night they were maknig some much noise at 3am in the morning and I had to work the next day. I banged on the door and told them to shut the f### up and they were too scared to come to the door. The following night, they thought they were big tough guys when they through a small pink Disney bounding ball at my front door. I still have the ball and I am afraid i am gona murder them if the noise keeps up LOLL.

    peace ,Ben

Duno who Smeg is man, but yeh that is what I did. Nothing to exciting really though, as I was just sat in front of a computer most days or going to boring meetings where I didnt understand a word being said. I worked mostly in the MSM area - that is men who have sexual relatinos with other men. I particular worked with males from Burma, China, Thailand of course and other SE Asian nation. It was kinda interesting ,but not really my cups of tea. I did have weekends off though and thats when I like to let my hair down mixing with other UN workers as well as going to girly bars for companies and laughs.

    peace, Ben

I dont have a very good track record with trains either KT,
When i was still in the Navy, got pissed but managed to get to Paddington station for the 4am train to Plymouth. Woke up in Bristol.........jumped off in a panic and ran to the staion masters office, i asked him when the next train to Plymouth was, to be told i had just got off it !
In fairness to the station master he was ex Navy, he gave me a cup tea and note from BR to say the train was delayed. Not so many jobsworths around then.
