^ They have classes for plumbing?
You mean people actually have to learn how to show up 4 hours late for an appointment then stand there scratching their bollocks, shaking their heads and going "It's gonna cost ya, missus."?
You make it sound easy...
Its a highly skilled occupation, anyway thats 50 quid you owe me for the consultation.Originally Posted by Gerbil

(Ok, I lie, I tell a Thai how to fix his disaster job, then watch him to make sure it's done properly)
^ Best one I came across was a newly installed bathroom with a water heater which apparently didnt switch on.
After breaking the wall, it turned out, the incoming water pipe had been divided into two with a pipe up for each of the hot and cold taps, then those pipes continued up, one into the heater inlet and one into the outlet!![]()
You, sir, are a God among men....
Short Men, who aren't terribly bright....
More like dwarves with learning disabilities....

Just as effective, but difficult to explain why I've got it in my car.
Although I did come second in my class and I know how to use it.

What fucking tool?
you can tell a lot by what tools a tradesman has, And that peice of cheap 14inch scrap metal says it all 2nd rate! (from 1 of the best plunbing & heating eng in the south)
Funniest one i saw, was plumber (cowboy) charged a lady customer £300.00 to install a pedestal basin, hot and cold pipes went one inch into the floor and not connected to anything, she thought there was an air lock.
Could have been Manpet he doesnt even know how to spell Plumberkidding!

that stanley knife style is now considered unsafe as it can split at the front while under extreme pressure from your thumb - the newer ones have a sort of overlap there.
