Thread: The Most Unendearing Thing About Your Present Partner

In response to Klongmaster's recent thread I've decided post an opposing thread.


For me, the most unendearing thing about my present partner is the fact that she is not currently my present partner anymore.


However, when she was my partner I didn't like her complaining about her weight though she's only 5'4" and 44 kilos. She was dead serious that she was overweight. After alot of sweet talk from me I would finally throw out the "borderline anorexic" term and things would go downhill from there.

that fact that she was clever enough to check up on me all the time, and would tell me mates everytime she caught me out ( which was most times! )

As mentioned in KlongM's thread even the unendearing things about my wife are, in a way, endearing qualities to me.
A few other things that can be endearing/unendearing depending on my mood at the time;

Getting tear-gassed out my own house whenever she stir-fries chillies.

Being prevented from sleeping because she grinds her teeth in her sleep. Although this gives me a good chance to give her a dig in the ribs or a love-slap to her chops.

Having to wait an hour for her to get dolled-up when we're only going to Carrefour to do 30 mins worth of shopping.
Or sitting in the car going backwards and forwards for 20 mins as she tries to manoeuvre the car into a tight space near the store's entrance because she's 'lazy for walking' and despite the fact that only 10 yards away there'll be the beginning of a vast baron wasteland of empty parking spaces.

They're all like that, any of you guys out there not married or don't have a live in don't fall for all that sweet talk bullshit! They will will nag you until you are brain dead and then give you the silent treatment for a couple of days to try to show you who is boss

i don't mind the silent treatment at all

Sometimes I pick fights just so as I get the silent treatment.

he is such a sad waste of space - not sure why I stay with him -

I know when I'm getting the silent treatment if I've done something wrong because my kids will act as a go-between for conversing with the wife even when we're all in the same room.

Wife - Ask your Daddy what he wants to eat.
Kid - Dad, Mummy said what do you want to eat?
Gazza - mmmm..tell your Mum that Daddy wants to eat bacon and beans on toast.

She thinks she's smarter than me. Sometimes she's right.
Every now and then I just absolutely flatly refuse to do something she's keen on. Don't give a real reason, just say, "I just don't want to do it." Drives her insane cause she has no basis on which to argue with me...
