last gf before moving to Thailand was Taiwanese, went to USA on a uni scholarship and stayed there 8yrs.
She looked down on just about everyone, maybe Taiwanese get taught about the 'bad Chinese' at school but she had no time for them, Koreans and Malaysians were even worse, Singapore/Hong Kong-Chinese were ok as she described them as 'educated'; never mentioned any of the rest on the list - they were just 'other' to her.
She also had the most irritating accent.

    yes, Tsico, there is

but it is a well known fact that the hate that racists feel has been engendered by the basic fear of someone being different from yourself

....interesting comment....why would you take any woman anywhere...
    ..."to show her off"....

now i know they have Dog Shows, Yearling Sales and even Fashion Parades for the ladies....

but isn't that the genesis of the condition....dissatisfaction, affirmation, confusion and finally fear....

this world is a malicious fraud.....clear you mind and look....really look...
at what you see....without the labels....

you will be pleasantly surprised.....once the false value system drops away..

case and point....look closely at the little children....

they have none of these problems....

until we teach them...as we were taught....
Showing your GF off, whether it is to strangers in a restaurant or friends back home, is not the main reason for having a GF but it is part of the experience. Unless your GF is a full on minger?

This conversation reminds me of a 2 Ronnies stetch with John Clease." Upper class middle class and lower class! Can't find it on Youtube. Anyway Gallop has of course a survey on which is the happiest country.

^ The class sketch was from 'the frost report' from the 1960's this is the top link.

This was redone in 2000 with Stephen Frye.

    Enjoy them both

That's not really true. All this stuff about "racism" and "hate crime" is left wing Big Lie propaganda. The density of logical fallacies per paragraph of the average lefty tirade is quite consistent... even the good Dr did it without thinking... "It's a well known fact" = the fallacy of "every schoolboy knows"...

Every schoolboy doesn't know that there's no such thing as racism; there's no such thing as race. Partly because the left-wing establishment in the UK doesn't want them to know or to think critically and challenge this mantra.

What there is, is ethnicities, and ethnocentrism, and group-based behaviour evolved to increase inclusive fitness by associating in groups and acting in groups for the benefit of the group and in doing so for the self.

Competition for resources is what it's fundamentally about: it's as much to do with love as it is with hate... you love your own family, so you want to provide for them; you don't hate people who try to usurp your resources initially, but the human mind has to dehumanise automatically to be able to compete successfully to control the resources at stake; this cult of trying to convince people that to do so is somehow "morally wrong" creates a major and fundamental cognitive dissonance, because it's in direct conflict with the morally right behaviour of putting the interests of your own group first... the result is chronic and profound unhappiness, as we see in the West.

Fear does not come into it, the concept at hand is survival, and it's an innate behaviour in the most ancient parts of the brain, because it's exhibited by all living organisms in some form or another. It's impossible to "unlearn" to be ethnocentric.

This left wing trope of suggesting it's to do with emotions... "fear", "hatred" etc... is typical of a mentality that fosters "playing the man, never the ball", in debates, where the lefty objective is to move away from reason and to "kill the messenger".

Interesting that you use a Murdoch paper as a reference, I wouldn't wipe my arse with it.

You could just well say that the hate felt by left-wingers to BNP-supporters and fellow travellers is based on fear of people different from themselves... i.e. with a different world view, that they are unwilling to engage with, but happy to condemn.
Yet according to polls, about half the country shares this general perspective, despite the country being run by a clique supported by about 20% of the electorate.

    Middle class southern qunts.
