Sometimes I will be watching a game of football and I will experience an 'Alien Moment'; this is when I think back to natural history documentaries in which presenters have spouted excitedly about monkeys throwing mangoes about in "....an apparent game where 'players' appeared to take sides and become emotionally involved....as amazingly, and with more fervour, did non-participants".

In my 'Alien Moments' I try to think of the difference that a 'higher' intelligence would make of a comparison between 'us' and so-called 'lower' lifeforms - And you know, I can't think of much of a difference....excepting that we appear to be more stupid than other DNA buckets on this planet....Most buckets appears to be trying to ensure their survival; ours appears to be determined on a course to destruction.

What's it all about?

Are we humans the very worst combination - worse than a clown with a gun, or an ego with an audience?

People buying cigarettes - that's another one - There you are fresh from Neptune and you see people spending 5% of their meagre salary on a poison that may well kill them - Bloody hell, there's even a warning on the packet to say that they are poison and may well kill them.

Walking on treadmills in gyms....the list is endless

What I am trying to ask is: Do you think that we (humans) are special?....And if you do please send me 10 dollars.

I've never really understood why you would want to run somewhere only to arrive at exactly the same place you left. I mean, why leave in the first place if you're in such a hurry to get back there?

i only thought doughnuts were either jam or with a hole in them.

as far as i am concerned the word custard only precedes 'creams' or 'tarts'.

And what about a disco - that would freak them out....On the rare occasions that I am in a disco I like to imagine there being no sound - people just jigging about like maniacs.

Why do we shave our faces but not the rest of our bodies? Wouldn't it be easier to use anti-perspirant if we shaved our armpits? Why do we have toothpicks but not butt-picks to get that pesky lint out of our butt hairs?

a word of warning tho,

fresh doo-doo is out... and if its too old - you'll create a spectacular dust cloud that you'll end up breathing in....
