50,000baht windfall

My girlfriend has just used one of her accounts which is very rarely used and found an extra 50,000 odd baht in it that somebody has mistakenly transferred, so what would you do?

I'm thinking along the lines of the card being reported lost as the whole lot is drawn out of the atm, sadly that isn't something she would go for

that sure would be a good few nights out in Pattaya though

When was it transferred, updating the bank book should give some details.

No idea, she just used the card at some atm next to the shop she went to, no idea what shop, she came back with food and a big fuk off chopper for me to use on the land, it don't really matter, the owner of the money will soon know he/she made a mistake and the bank will take it back, but do you know how many short times that would be down Soi Yodsak

No really, I transferred 50,000 ish baht a while back but I got the number wrong.

Please pm me your asccount details so your girl friend can do the right thing and pay it back.

Give it back, you might get a reward, 50,000 is nothing and youll be able to sleep at night.
i read about someone getting killed for 4000 baht by some Thai money lender

saying that, if the ball was in my court, Id be straight down lolitas, soi cowboy, nana, climax, spicy then swing, in that order

In the stone age before internet banking and checking online, I had my book updated at SCB only to find 2 million had gone in and out on the same day a month or so previous. Asked what it was and they just said a mistake, but 500Baht had been left in it and that I shouldn't worry. I reckoned it was some money laundering and the 500b was a sweetener for me.

Imagine if it was you, you'd saved up 50K as a deposit on a new car or your monthly rent or whatever, would you not be gutted if you lost it ?

It's probably some hard-up poor Thai who the banks don't give a fok about.
