500 users deleted - You could be next

Ok we just deleted 500 users, this will be an ongoing thing to unclutter teakdoor with unused user names, all the ones deleted haven't been used for the last 12 months nor logged in in the last 12 months so they really don't need the nicks, this will be an ongoing thing with about 500 deleted every week, time to clean up the teakdoor server of clutter.

Facebook carried out a similar program last year , dont know if the uncluttering has sped it up or not

Really? I've gone through the "10 Steps to delete your facebook account" Twice! and its still bloody there!

I think the only way to get deleted is to be so obscene that they have to delete you.

Should be amusing to see people with multiple nics activating the old ones to prevent them being deleted. I remember Smeg used to have "reserve" nics which suddenly activated when he got banned from Ajarn.

The trick is NOT TO LOG IN for the 2 weeks or so they'd asked you to wait! Every time you log in during that time you'll be automatically reactivated!

Speaking as a "voyeur", I thought I'd better make my first post, because, believe it or not, I love to read TD - It's very informative, and very entertaining.

It's only inactive accounts that will be deleted, no need to post as the search query is on last log in.
