My salary is not really the problem.

i have to syphon money out of our joint account to put into my 'entertainments' fund.

i really regret getting a joint account but as i was sailing before and away for months at a time it made sense as my wife had to pay all the bills etc.

but now its a real pain that my wife sees exactly what goes in my account every month - and every withdrawal i make. And she watches it like a hawk.
