It's my sister's birthday today, so yes, it's a bad day for me as I have to shell out and make an international phone call; half of it wasted listening to her spawn making gurgling noises. Oh joy!

No problems for me yet today, on the way home from Nong Khai today i passed what was left of a large truck that had been parked wheels upwards in a ditch by a Thai stunt driver. He was standing nearby looking dazed and confused, maybe he did not know what day it was?

I quite often forget what year it is so the chances of me noticing that it is a particular day is pretty slim. Even I had noticed I wouldn't have given it much thought.

I am in awe of Friday 13th, it must be a terrible day

mind you, I flew into Bkk and onto CM on that inauspicious day; all that happened was that the plane was 30 minutes late
