Not at all AA. Tapas is a good little bar, but a bit on the small side. they do lots of live music, mostly farang crowd.

I think the ex Noriegas bar down the end on the right, now called Nomads. Good music nights in there, they have Band Show cases, Open mic nights etc plus regular bands each night and not your typical Blues/Jazz types either.

I quite like Tapas, good place

Actually the whole Soi is quite nice, for hardcore stuff go to Soi 2, much more fun

Also try Telephone in Soi 4, the place is a riot.

I miss Soi 4, I haven't been there for ages

^Is this the Soi where Bobby's used to be?
Bobby's was the last bar (?) on the left hand side of the soi with the salsa whatever place opposite it?
Used to enjoy a pint in Bobby's before it moved to the Pong, but you had to look left, right and left again before entering the Soi 'cos it's full of dudes with handelbar mustaches and skinny Thai dudes looking for a bum.

It's a nice place and the owner has wonderous puppies; as you can imagine she's gay (so I'm told), so I can only look, but the twice I went they were nicely on show...

If you want your tapas (from the same group) without the distraction of fit, cute young guys with enormous, bulging protuberances in their trousers go to the branch on Sukhumwit Soi 11. (Actually, it's on the small sub-soi just on the left after you enter.) Map at Tapas Cafe, Bangkok's First Spanish Tapas Bar and Restaurant

Personally, I'd prefer to letch after the cute gay guys.
