Will Shopping be safe again ?

Was thinking to go shopping today, but with all the rampant reds hiding and waiting to strike at anything that looks like a shopping mall, I wonder if shopping will ever be safe again in Bangkok.

I am sure many share the same concern,

Central ? or Emporium ? can they really be safe ? their security don't seem to be very effective to stop someone from burning the place.

I had a quick rummage through the rotting and decaying food, which had been sitting in the hot sun for several hours, but oddly the yoghurts I like appeared to have been lifted before I got there. Bastards.

Anybody's guess when the BTS will reopen. MRT is opening tomorrow morning at 8am. Maybe a run down to Fortune IT mall and buy some DVD's - Ratchada seems like it would be an unlikely target of any craziness.

I was in Carreffour, past the TV3 building, a few police and military there, but a crew were fixing up the place already and you couldn't tell anything bad happened

the road was a bit damaged though, at several intersection

people were shopping like crazy in Carrefour, buying Plasma and LCD like there were hot from the truck, guess it's a way to deal with stress
