Nation TV are saying it was M79 grenades, Police are saying they think it was fireworks.
also, reports that the BTS was evacuated and Saladaeng station is closed.
Tweeter at Sala Daeng says defo not grenades; fireworks.
2 injuries, a Thai and a foreigner.
Ambulance guys say otherwise.Originally Posted by mao say dung

^^Shouldn't you be out there "seeing" what's really happening?
Being confirmed by the authorities now and reported on Thai news channels. 'A number of people have been injured in grenade attacks on Silom road'.
BBC are lapping it up. They're going with the battler here, slapped together an interview with an isaan woman and sympathized with the reds' struggle. Breaking news now, AT LEAST 2 injured, like they're excited there might be more. The media rocks.
Get out there doodles and take it like a man.....for us....we will all respect you in the morning
Are they confirming the fireworks set off by Reds to disguise it?

Blasts heard in Bangkok stand-off
![]()
At least two explosions have been heard in the Thai capital Bangkok where police are in a tense stand-off with anti-government protesters.
Witnesses are reported as saying at least one foreigner has been wounded.
Earlier, a military spokesman warned of "decisive action" and "chaos" if protesters did not quit their fortified camp in the city.
The government is under pressure to crack down on the red-shirt protesters, who say they want new elections.
The cause of the explosions was not immediately known.
Witnesses said they occurred at an elevated train station in the heart of the capital's business district.
An Associated Press reporter saw two injured people taken away for treatment.
Tensions have been rising in the city after a night of minor clashes, helicopter patrols and fireworks.
Thai leaders have said they want a negotiated, peaceful end to the dispute, but observers say a non-violent solution is increasingly unlikely.
Thank you doodles
So did the M&M's get a rocket-propelled carrot?
Is this all you have to hold on to now?Originally Posted by mao say dung
