    The last time this volcano erupted it spewed for two years so if history is an indicator folks are in for a long wait.

    Toyota has just announced that they are closing plants until this is over as they can't get parts from Ireland. If it drags on, it could really effect our everyday lives in many ways that we don't yet comprahend.

    as for the volcano, even if it continues to erupt, the dust it emits will not be so fine and will, therefore, not cause the same problems

    Just think what Europe will look like 6 months from now, after having had no air traffic for that whole time. A good time to have stock in some ship lines or trains. Hope it last for at least a year.
