If You like me are at home alone and bored senseless on a Friday night you might wish to try this quiz found on the Guardian website.
It would appeal mostly to the Brits amongst you.

It was surpising the high percentages og the yoof of today who got some of the questions wrong.

Many questions had more than an 80% incorrect mark

To be serious, I was disgusted with my score of 29 out of 38. But then, what chance have the likes of me knowing who is in "Big Brother?"

36/38 - I got the Big Brother question wrong and I didn't know who Tom Paine was - I was lucky on a lot of the others.

I'm dumb, 26/38.

Does this mean I can be a Telfer now?

37/38. guessed a couple but got the euro 2000 question wrong. i'm a rugby gal myself, so i'm not too ashamed. pretty sad to see how many people got some of the easy questions wrong, though.

29...too Brit focused for an Australian...a few (educated?) guesses in the ones I got right as well.

Also a somewhat narrow-focused asessment of "dumb" even for Brits, I would imagine...

I guessed the Big Brother one correctly, had no idea who Anthea Turner was married to or who won the footie but disappointed myself by not knowing who the poet laureate was.

28 and with more guesses than I thought might need.

Dumb quiz. Surely knowing the names of the Big Brother contestants should be negative points. Smeg would have got that one correct as he's got nothing to do now but watch daytime television. Somebody shoot me.

I know about Thomas Paine (In fact I think my GGGGGGrandfather was related to him) and I know about the Cavaliers and Roundheads and the Battle of Hastings and the Magna Carta and old Sigmund, but I didn't have the first clue about the other Freuds or the Big Brother thing...
