I half expected to see Smeg this morning.
I went round to the Queen Sirikit Centre this morning to visit the Thai-UK exhibition- 60 years of whatever to coincide with the Kings 60 years on the throne and found one of the exhibitors was

    Bournemouth University (?since when?)

So he shoulddn't be short of a Thai GF or two if indeed he has gone back.

By the by the exhibition is not worth the time to visit

I bought the papers this morning for a change - there was no mention of his arrival at Heathrow.

So we expect to hear about dead Thai girlfriends in Bournemouth then?

Not one fecker at the airport to see me off. Probably too busy at Nana, right?

Well I've been back approaching a week, and its great. The weather is cool, the streets are clean and peaceful, the buildings lovely, and everything is normal and comfortable. I am so glad not to be addicted to staying in that hot dirty seedy weird dump, the land of forced smiles, forever.

I spent the weekend mountain biking in the New Forest (with no risk of heat exhaustion), and this morning on Bournemouth beach (with no stray dogs or bloody vendors coming up trying to sell shite every two minutes)

I was contacted by UNICEF today. I have been offered a role with them in Bangkok on a year contract as soon as the jfit are approved (1-3 months estimated) working on a new child protection in Thailand project. 150,000k per month but even that probably won't tempt me.

Fock no, don't accept the offer. Decline it.

Why would you want to come back to a country where everything is abnormal.

    Decline.

Did you say UNICEF? Is it 150K / month or 150,000K / month?

I wish I were as qualified and intelligent as you, I wouldn't be focking wasting my time in LOS.

actually he cannot - i heard/read that they've arrested all 237 girls in orchard towers and deported them for a week or so cos of some business conference going on...

so he'd be clear out of luck going there ....
