We love travelling . . . and since I've done so ever since I was a tot (well, even before I was born my parents were posted to
Thailand and - voilà - three months after arrival!). and we continue to do so with the girls.

Beautiful place . . . worked as Dir Sales Europe for an IT company based in Seattle and spent a bit of time there. Loved the 'Stinky' whales gliding near the ferries

Yeah, I did it earlier in the year. Difficult to believe that it was once one of the world's most dangerous neighbourhoods - if not the most dangerous - when you're walking round in the afternoon with a beer in your hand, but I still wouldn't chance my arm after dark.

Although I ended up getting pissed in a tienda/cigarreria near the San Javier metro station with an ex Atletico Nacional player and a load of locals later on. Memorable night.

Very friendly people, los Colombianos.

Last year we went to WA for two weeks . . . loved it and seriously considered moving from NZ to WA and the temps were a very pleasant 19, 22, 24 and then 38 . . . nope. Too hot for my darling better half.

These are the Pinnacles in the Nambung National Park, about 250km north of Perth

Picking persimmons and pruning the farmers trees for charity . . . the farmer sets aside a couple of
blocks of fruit trees and volunteers pick them and then they go to food banks. Four hours of exercise as well

We've been doing this since we came to NZ, it's great for the girls to get out into the countryside and
also contribute . . . while getting rides on tractors and eating lots of fruit

Wow, that is a very beautiful picture with Mount Fuji in the background.
Welcome back to the forum, PH. It is great that you get to travel so much. My best friend whom I met in Asia, is from NZ and I hope to get there one day.
