as long as you took it you are good - no big deal about the date
though fresh is better
Fresher IS better, too...yeah - in most things.
Last week

Wifey just returned from a month in the land of thighs.
I asked, I got:

Thai tea, fried beef strips, (ไข่มด) ant egg medley
I was given an old trail camera recently and tried it out last week tied to a tree overlooking a waterhole in Nam Nao NP where there were fresh elephant and deer tracks.
First photo I got was me walking away after setting it.

Only other one with anything worth seeing was an Eagle of some sort, cant tell which species from the photo.

Nice, how long can it be set-up there & charged?
That elephant will be along.
Cheers birding.
Takes 8 AA batteries and seems they can last up to 12 months depending on the number of photos taken, info here :

Damn!
I really need to leave the house more often. :)
Great shots lads.
Cheers.
^^ They don't look like the botanical gardens in Sydney, but thanks for the memories.
I used to live on Victoria street and trot down through the botanical gardens to the Opera House and across into the CBD everyday. Loved that place.
Shame I got nicked by the rozzers and deported. :) Would choose Ockerland as my favorite country to live in hands down.
^That is the Gold Coast botanics. A pale and small imitation of Sydney's harbourside 60 acres.
No boat people refugees thankyou!Quote:

Does that chinky writing say 'No he's not taking a shit. Don't shit here'?
Never noticed that, maybe it does.

Top of the morning to y'all from BKK
Morning Loopy.
That vista will be nice at around 8pm with a glass of red.
Almost equally so at 9am with a nice latte and nothing to do for the day but oil massages, eating and drinking. :)
On second thoughts, that's not TC's 'Balcony', is it.

Vang Vieng Laos at the crack of dawn. From the aging ones I hear a Tony Orlando Joke. Something about the crack of dawn.
Edit... What goes up must come down....
^looks vaguely biblical hick.
desert...
burning bush...
black tented woman...
were you there for 40 days and 40 nights?
any miracles?
^ Heh
A few odd sounds echoing by at night...still can't work it out.
Baboons, maybe...or some type of desert bird.
Loads of (small print) animal trails but few sightings beyond several dung beetles and one non-venomous scorpion.
It was clear that a fairly large snake had slithered by (maybe) a day before we arrived there.
(we slept off the ground)
A small camel herd walked by in the late evening w/o a caretaker.
That was nice.
Looks and sound fantastic.
Just needs some good BBQ'able meat, weed, a telescope and skymap, if you didn't have them all already.

Keep forgetting to download that app. Once downloaded, you don't need to be online, right? (signal is pretty weak out there)
I quit smoking weed but plenty of it and brown avail. back at the compound.

Strange set-up innit?
If you are going to spend money on good telephoto glass you don't want to waste it on a tiny mobile phone 1/2.5" sensor.
^^ Tosser.
