Actually they call you when it arrives at the designated post office, and you (or the person you're selling to) goes down to collect it.

Simply loaded on and off one of their trucks.

It isn't illegal to buy and sell bikes without green books, it appears to be only illegal to get caught riding one, especially if you are a farang.

The transportation constitutes nothing criminal, I could be buying a bike for spares, or for use on my own (wifes sorry) land... don't see the problem.

Maybe it is one of these daft laws like the UK has, where even if the vehicle is imobile, if it touches a public road it needs to be taxed, except for wealthy farmers tractors and the like.

I saw a site on Craiglist, 75K Baht, they will guarantee a green book for any size of bike...now how do they do that?

It's a bit of a mish-mash. No one really knows the actual laws...

Except Rigger I think.
