order one of these in for him from china ( just make sure the pigail matches )- he will get a lot more range out of it

16 dBi 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g Wifi Yagi Antenna - eBay Wireless Networking Kits, Wireless Networking, Networking Communications, Computers Networking. (end time 27-Jan-10 0001 AEDST)
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

Baldrick...if you get a really good directional antenna, is it possible to hack into someones "loosely protected Wi fi over a fair distance...i.e. what sort of range are you talking? and can you use amplifiers on this or not...as to extend range?

good line of sight , a solid setup , minimal losses in the antenna pigtail and low noise in the 2.4 GHz - you should be able to easily get 5-8 klms out of a well constructed 16 dbi yagi

Since my daughter is a fan of Michael Jackson she peruses YouTube for any and all information. Usually, this is done on her laptop in her bedroom. However, since I have the big speakers and it is xmas break she has been using my computer.

This past week I have been recieving tons of emails asking me to join various YouTube Michael Jackson sites. WTF?

Come to find out my daughter had been using my YouTube account (bkkhillbilly) to send numerous comments about MJ.

So now the world thinks hillbilly loves Michael Jackson. I do not...

If he really wants to crack WEP and other password protected WiFi's point him in the direction of BackTrack.

Although judging from it, he seems to know what he's doing!

Pardon my ignorance but is that a biblical epic or something a little more sinister?

Oh I don't know...mine is heading for a heavy weighted sack pretty soon! But you can always do as the locals do FUCK EM and FLOG EM, cut their little arms and legs off and get them out there begging for you...earn a wage, Thatcher would have been proud!

There is a (partially) interesting website... from my home..surprised they are able to type to be honest, it's the local Newcastle Evening Chronicle...you just need to read a few of the headlines then look at the typical Northern Responses in the readers comments...(it actually gives me great pride to find that they can both read and write)

You get a headline like "EVIL Woman steals 5 quid from 86 year old neighbour" Then about ten replies in the vain of "HANGINGS TOO GOOD" , "Should Be Boiled Alive" , "In My Day We Would have been burned at the stake" , "let them rot forever in jail" ... try it it puts life in the North East of england into perspective...

ChronicleLive - Newcastle & North East news, Newcastle United news & Sunderland AFC news from the Evening Chronicle newspaper

Notice how certain reporters like to brand people as EVIL, SCUM, Wicked etc... worse than a fucking Dandy/Beano comic!
