I know there are loads of forums on this site, some probably have more cobwebs than my mother in laws pussy.

Here is a thought, why not open a forum where all the members here could put together a post describing the circumstances that brought them to Thailand?

A sort of "Confession" room?

Don't you think it might be interesting to find out all the various reasons we left our homes to end up in this place?

I am willing to jot a few lines, be interested to see others reasons.

( not many posters give their reasons for why and where they are...just thought it would be a bit different from slagging off Thais and Jews and Americans..and Kingwilly and Robertson) I am interested to see why people ended up here, (and as you rightly point out - WHY NOT)

Why you decided not to make the land of La La your home! There is a bit of personal reasoning lacking, I am interested to see why people ended up here, (and as you rightly point out - WHY NOT)

I had quit my job for the Aussie company i was working, after 10 yrs i was bored and needed a change of scenery, i had been offered a job in a mines near Perth so i handed my notice in (1 month).

Two weeks after handing my notice in then boss asked me if i wanted to come to Thailand for 3 months to help him set up a joint venture he was getting into......been here ever since (oct 06).

DD 's drive to Thailand from Luton or wherever in a BLMC, and Fondles secret arrival in Singapore from where...surely this is much more interesting than Indonesian hookers and muslim whores, or even JOOS for that matter!
