Just checkout Thaivisa.
I have just recieved a 'newsflash' regarding the education visa 'scam/thingy!!!

Apparently some guy was pulled up for not speaking much Thai!!!!!

Heaven forbid...Check out some of the comments they're the worst sanctimonious bunch on there really..

Dr Pat Pong really gets my goat...I never actually visit the site anymore, i just get the newsflashes..so in a way I do..OK

So KW you say that your a MOD on that site....how come you seem so normal and decent...bet they don't let you get much work....you'd let em' get away with too much like freedom of speech etc...having an opinion apart from the party line....

Is that the Wallen School fvcked then? nobody who goes there can speak Thai. Why go to a School that can't even spell baht properly?

One offical in one Thai office gives one farang a hard time and it becomes 'offical Thai crackdown'. They probably just wanted to give the farang a hard time as he was caused them to do some work.
