Here is ours, been up for a week or so, it's the only thing we do out here, but I would not think it was a real Christmas without at least a Christmas tree, Christmas together with the whole family is some of the best times I remember from my childhood, everybody was happy, lots of good food, being together with the adults that for once had time for us kids, playing in the snow in the forest, Christmas was great.

I will post a pictrue as soon as ours is up.
How many of you have a real tree?
Agreed. I have put some lights up though. The inside of my house can easily be mistaken for a karaoke bar at the mo..Couple of thai guys slowing down as they walk past..no boys....just meOriginally Posted by jandajoy

The tree was resting on the terrace for almost a week but now it was time to put him inside and prepare for christmas.
There was a lot of coursing until I got the tree into the stand and it was up and as straight as I could get it. Yes, my wife's shoes look funny but I have been told they are warm.
The final result, unfortunately the picture is not so good.
No plastic here as I deem that to be a sacrilege for a christmas tree.
It's a real tree. Quite short. It's actually on a small table behind the sofa. Merry Christmas!
My wife played all our christmas songs cds while decorating. Now I cannot hear that kind of songs anymore.
Seems like she like christmas more than me.
Fabian,
Tried to PM but not been a member here long enough. Are you by chance Greenspans arch Nemesis and world renowned economist residing in BKK? He also is from Germany. I will not give the name here. Anyway thanks for the signed copy of your book, if you are him.
No, Toby, I am a tax advisor living in Germany.

As is tradition here.
Also the traditional potatoe salad and Wiener Sausages today as in so many german families.
No tree here, but we're going for a herring lunch at the local Cherman restaurant.Originally Posted by Takeovers
