    The recent hot weather in the UK got me thinking about wearing skirts again, they look so comfortable; I'm not weird, I'd only go for classy below the knee styles.....The type that are best suited to running through meadows whilst eating a Cadbury's Flake....

    ok i can see your point about the skirt.

    but surely in the hot weather a Flake is not the most suitable confectionary.

    you would need chocolate that melts in your mouth but not in your hand.

    Most soft ice cream producers in the UK were Italian in the 1930s. The ice cream sandwich with the flake in it was extra special. In the days of the monarchy in Italy the King has a specially chosen guard consisting of 99 men, and subsequently anything really special or first class was known as "99" - and that his how "99" Flake came by its name.
