I've bought suits from Rajas on Soi 4 as well, and can vouch for the quality. If you are particular about the styling, stitching, interior fabrics, buttonholes, etc, tell them, and they will accomodate your needs - at least they have for me! You should be able to get it for less than B14,000. But, beware the shops that sell a suit, 2 pants, 4 shirts, etc for $100 US - those will be shit!

Never liked the cut on Boss. Only have suits for special occassions, but have three beautiful suits by Pal Zileri. Classic cuts, last for ever.

Bit out of my league now a days though, and maybe try tailored next time.

One piece of advice I remember from some one who I know who wears suits evrey day is to get 2 pairs of trousers for every jacket. Trousers wear out much faster than jackets.

    I do that every time.

I've used the same tailor in Bangkok since 1991. I've had numerous suits, trousers and shirts some of which have lasted for years. I often stop in for a beer with him and he gets annoyed with me that I don't buy more (nothing since 2006) I told him it's because he makes them so well that I don't have to. Always gets him.....

Don't buy a suit in LOS or HK. Pieces of shit. Stick to Savile Row or Italy for bespoke. Otherwise go with Canali or Emeraldo Zegna.

Can't comment. Had some shirts made in Singapore and they were shit and the taylor had no idea how to measure a person. Other than that I wear boss. Very good suits. Go get yourself a nice boss suit.

Best suits I ever had made were by "Sams the Tailor" Nathan Road Kowloon Hong Kong I have numerous suits bought off the peg by Boss,Armani, Canali, Zegna and others when they are off the peg, even with alterations they will never be a perfect fit.
When I was stationed in Hong Kong Prince Charles came there as Colonel-in- Chief of the Gurkhas. He had ten bespoke suits made by Sam,s and ordered thirty wide collared shirts in Egyptian cotton. Its always nice to know you have the same tailor as the future King of the UK and the commonwealth.

agreed. They do make good qaulity, but expect to pay also.

$99.99 for 27 suits and 55 pants in 3.5 hours offered by the touts, is well, what you'd expect

Yes, they are good, but they're the only ones I've found to be of good quality. I had several made at different places and other than the above, no other suit has been worth the money. As DB said, the seams aren't stitched well.

I now buy only from retailers in The Emporium or Siam Paragon. A bit pricey, but worth it.
