The normally non - violent Happyman is on your side - just don't hit him outside of your garden area- that changes it from self defense to assault !
Good luck with the prat !

You might need to check this with a lawyer or even the shop where you get beer from but next time he comes over onto your property uninvited you can just shoot him, maybe. say you're American or something, they all love guns n shootin stuff

Get a tiny little radio controlled replica Avro Lancaster from the 617 Squadron tribute shop at RAF Lossiemouth and carry out night time raids on his dam.

I'd love to give you a personal demonstration reacharound, all friendly like of cause, I imagine you are a person that could be in need of some self defence skills now and again if your charming keyboard persona in anyway resembles who you really are.

Thanks RS and as far as I know the Communal Rules/ Law M.O.U can be registered at the land office as well with copies going to each of the residents of the estate.Originally Posted by Rural Surin
To block a public thorougfare or road even on a private estate is not only wrong but a dangerous act and I also blame the guards for not stopping this aussie from doing it.
The Estate management are a gutless lot and not only put Larvidhr's property at risk but allowed this Aussie guy to come down on numerous occassions and to verbally and physically threaten him.
Again before any members here move onto an estate anywhere in Thailand (either renting or buying) make sure you firstly read the Estate Services and Maintainance M.O.U and to avoid future problems. After all that is your right and you are actually paying for that service.
Problem is that the managers here is a Thai Chinese family, and they go out of their way to avoid any conflicts, but in the way of not responding to complaints, not being able to contact them, always give the complainant the assurance he is right, promise to do something, and then do nothing about it hoping it will go away, in this case they will have to get money out of their pockets to rectify the drainage system and that is next to impossible to make them do.
I know they have sent letters to the Aussie asking him to remove the sandbags, so when I then asked why they did not remove them themselves the answer was oh no no we don't want any trouble, the thing is that the Aussie family is very aggressive and have been in the office screaming and threatening many times and they keep intimidating the office and blackmailing them by the way of flooding the office.
The managers have tried a few things that the Aussie have demanded, but it is not enough, and the Aussie guy do not want to do what others have done which is using their own money to make individual solutions for their properties.
Part of the problem is that he has no money and is running on the bilge pumps, but then again that is really not my concern or my problem, but his.
Bung a lead from your house with bare end in the water.
Next time he comes around flick the switch !
Well it was the flood he caused that caused the short circuit![]()

Please encourage your neighbour to join us here at TD so we can offer the twat some support.
You get some weird Farang types over here, I hope you and your estate can find a way to get shot of him. Nightmare.
Go out at night time with a stanley blade and slash open the sandbags.
Sorry to hear of your neighbour. Lavid. You did well to smack him. Just keep doing it. You could turn it into a daily routine.
Get up, read the paper, knock out the aussie, walk the dog, take the kids to school.....![]()
Pity about the damage he's done to your car tho'. Should fit roo bars.
Slip a few baht to a friendly BiB to 'take care' of your Aussie neighbor... Maybe they can find a stolen bar mat in his trousers and prosecute accordingly...
In the mean time, if he assaults you either verbally or physically again, continue the beatings until he gets the message... That's the only way some folks catch on...
Give a man a match, and he'll be warm for a minute, but set him on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
True, the insurance guy said since I was the one throwing him in the car they would not cover, but if I waited a few days and took it to a workshop and made a new claim he would not remember his visit to our house, the bumper plastic itself was cracked + the bar holding the bumper to the chassis was broken off in a few places.
But this being Thailand with repairing the cracked bumper repainting the whole thing and the new bracket it all came to only about 2500 baht much more easy to pay yourself than going through all the paperwork.
Just for principle I went and dumped the bin in his postbox that made his Wife make a furious phone call to my GF demanding I first pay his 4000 baht hospital bill, but that is not going to happen.
