How to start a poll?

Recently, I posted a few threads here that are deemed "racist and politically incorrect" I thought this was an open minded forum, apparently by some of the insults and personal slurs, this is not the case. Up to you.

I have always thought that free speech should be paramount in any subject, regardless of the material involved, and a good argument from both sides should be actively encouraged.

Sadly, it seems that name calling and pigeon holling seem to be more in favour here than an honest debate.

Frankly, I don't really give a shit about personal slurs, what really pisses me is the stifiling of an honest opinion, and the debated reasons and outcomes.

I also understand that some of the topics I post are not entirely welcomed here, again that is fair enough, (I understand that this is a "LOUNGE") and sometimes maybe what I post is not exactly "relaxing" material.

So, let's have a look and call a spade a spade, can someone set up a "POLL" as they can do on wonderful sites like Thia visa, and poll the members here as to whether or not I should or should not post?

A vote of "can Miggins Spew hate" or "NOT"

And, I will take the verdict as is, if I get a majority that prefers me NOT to post, then there be it..I will be gone!

Anyone organise this or not?

I basically like a discussion, but I feel some of my discussion subjects here are not "in the mainstream" for this forum.

Most of your sensational stuff is in the trash bin which has been named MKP.

Perhaps you need refreshing on the title of that area of the Teakdoor.......

To be honest, I couldn't care less, I only thought that this forum was a bit more "honest"

Zeitgeist! Interesting, it's a bit open to interpretation, but it is not what I thought it meant, I thought it mean't Time Ghost, or something. I had never really thought of it like that! (Even though I spent a few years working in Southern Germany) I preferred Hutengeist to be honest, and a bottle of Ubermeister, they worked wonders on your metabolism!

Hooter, I am forced to agree with you on that load of crap I posted, it was a bit of a drunken piss take, nothing too serious. I am surprised you found the other thread interesting...most people think I am an idiot!! Never mind.

I have heard of Zeitgeist, but never really thought about it until you mentioned it, I always thought it meant something like a "Timeghost", I mutch preffered "Hutengeist" or "Obermeister" as a clearer of thoughts....(I spent a few years working in Bavaria and it is a strange but wonderful land)

Sometimes after a few years here you get a bit "jaded" and (for me at least - I really don't have any social life other than Thais..hence, no social life full stop! that sometimes I enjoy discussing things that were part of my childhood and upbringing that have since been a pretty questionable subject...Imagine trying to debate an issue like the holocaust with a Thai??? They couldn't find Germany on a map unless it had the Duetsche Bank ATM's as a guidline!)

The name Zeitgeist that i was referring too was a series of 7 vids on U-Tube, each about 10 minutes long, someone suggested I watch them and I did. I don't have huge views on politics and the past. They opened my eye's somewhat though did start too get a bit stupid towards the final couple at the end. Thought you would have definately seen them, not sure about your issues with computer download speeds etc though. If you can watch them I think you would enjoy them.
