Swift code for kasikorn bank.Anyone know?

Does anyone know the Swift code for Kasikorn Bank. Trying to transfer money to a thai bank from Spain and they are asking for a Swift number. The manager of the Bank in Lad Prao has given me a swift address 'kasithbk' but the bank want a number.

    Any ideas?

Nah thats it. I've had this problem loads of times. You've just gotta argue it out with the spanish bank until they understand that we use letters instead of numbers over here. Good luck.

The Spanish are probably trying to get an 'IBAN' number, not being aware that the system is not universal, or insisting on it out of stubbornness/arrogance...

International Bank Account Number - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thai banks do not use the IBAN system and you need to get this information through to the Spanish bank.

If you are being sent foreign currency, you may need to contact Kasikorn to ask which handling bank (correspondent bank) they have for that currency.

They only have one branch for which the SWIFT code applies to and he won't need anything special for foreign currency with them. Done it a few times myself.
