She's great, but a different genre I think. Bit like comparing Jerry Lee Lewis and Nat King Cole.

I respect dylan for always doing what he wanted to do - not what others wanted him to do. at the peak of his fame, he went electric and many of his fans turned their backs on him. but he didn't care, and kept pumping out the tunes he wanted to sing. Apparently, Dylan was the one who influenced john lennon to write songs with meaning, as opposed to lyrics like "she loves you yeah yeah yeah".

Bob Dylan and Neil Young have influenced music as we know it more than any other individuals if you ask me...

Absolutely and neither could be touted as great singers. Both are an acquired taste. I have acquired the taste and listen to both regularly.

No fucking way matey, Dylan has some classic tunes that I've downloaded onto my MP'3 and enjoy the studio versions.

As far as seeing him live he can go suck a dead dogs cock. He's as exciting and energetic as a Zit on ones ball bag.

I think he was notorious for those kinds of performances. Often playing with his back to the audience and stuff. Don't really understand that myself. What is he trying to say?

    He's trying to say :

Look at me I'm a foking superstar and I don't have to give you punters value for money.

    Very foking average I'd say.

I was responding to "the rockingest woman" comment.
