However his interview in English on CNN was disappointing- He was very excited and seemed sort of hyped up -seeming too frenetic for a world leader.

I knew what he was trying to say, about PAD getting away with breaking the law, "... Elites...," etc., etc.. But he wasn't being clear about it - and to the average viewer in UK or US , his accent would have been too thick to understand clearly - whereas Abbie with his UK- lipped speech came off as more.... familiar and capable.

I do like Abbie, I think under different circumstances he would have made a fine leader, but the way he got to power, through PAD intimidation and a judicial coup ( not a cliche but a fact ) has tainted him ... Too bad .

Fresh, internationally monitered elections and STICK to the outcome would be my suggestion to nip this " revolution" in the bud.

Perchance, does your "yellow shirted wife" know when free elections will be held in Thailand. One where parties fron Northern parts of Thailand won't be censored and denied ability to organize, participate and put fourth canidates of their own choosing.

What makes Thaksin's TRT and proxies clean? IMHO they were just as tainted by the massive vote buying. Not to mention Thaksin judicial bribe that prevented him from being thrown out of office on his assets concealment case. I'm sure the judge's son is still enjoying his executive position with AIS.
