Indeed. My grandfather was nearly beaten to death by anti union thugs hired by the Canadian Pacific Railroad. Why? They the union had the audacity to demand a 6 day work week. The unions did fight and some lost their lives for the things we take for granted today. Most of the rights they fought for are now part of state law.
Given this is the case, are unions a thing of the past and no longer needed to protect worker rights?
