greens and all that shit:
in the short while i have posted on td, i have noticed that there are a number of posters with an huge cache of greens.
very fukkn impressive......................
however, has anybody bothered to do a simple calculation:
divide your number of repo points by your number of posts, and you will end up with a ratio- the higher your ratio, the higher your percieved value on the forum.
this is only my own perception, and it may not even make sense to me when i sober up, but my perception nevertheless.
it is not difficult to achieve, say, a million repo points if you made two million posts: a ratio of 0.5 to one.
i would say that a poster had achieved more if he had 100 posts and had 150 repo points: ratio of 1.5 to one
on that note, doesn't what makes the forum interesting depend more on the guys who have a higher thread- to -reply ratio?
'kkin easy to reply to a thread- do it myself all the time, but i notice a whole lot of people on here who almost never start their own threads, simply post away on the backs of other people.
while the retorts and replies and shitfights are all entertaining, it seems it rests on the shoulders of a relative minority who actually keep the whole thing going.
for those who actually give a fuck about repo points, work out your ratios, then
calculate your own worth and decide whether you are a contributor or just a passenger ................
