7 right - pure guesswork though

Worked with a Ozzie once and he had us falling about with his expressions !

A few of my favourites were

Dog = Dishlicker
Noisy talkative woman = More yap than a drovers dog
Policewoman = Dickless Tracy
Meat pie = Rats coffin

It was on NineMSN yesterday (I also got 17/19

) but I can't find it now. Mind you, it would be pretty hard to copy-and-paste as it is not in single-page format. As you answered each multiple-choice question the page cleared to show a new page/question and at the end of the 20 questions it gave you a tally and summary.

I find "pub" Aussie easy to follow. It is remarkably similar to informal "mates" English. I wonder why USers struggle with other forms of English

Even worse NR........just the other night some person mistook me for an Englishman and because of my non-aussie sounding accent.
