They get ya coming and get you when your going

I get my pittance of a income from NZ / Aust sources, so that amount in Thai Baht has taking a fair old hammering in recent months, never mind, on the upside many of the small luxuries of life are also sourced from NZ / Aust like the worlds best cheeses and beef, wine etc.
So imagine my shock when i went into buy my weekly ration of Mainland vintage Chedder, Ok, not the best cheese in the world but anyway last week it was 165 Bt a packet and despite the kiwi Dollar tanking by about 40% the fvcking price of my favorite cheese has gone UP.

    Fvckers.

Now its 172 Bt a packet, someones taking the piss.

Exactly TM, thats what I am working towards, my cheese consumption has dwindled, really only use it now for a Cheese on toast thing for the ankle biters.

The Mainland vintage chedder, while not a patch on the Cheeses Propagator brought over for me from Merry, old and gay Engerland, is not a bad cheese.

I love the 4 and twenty pies from Ozland and those products have increased in price by 30% even despite the Aussie dollar tanking.

That is the way the Chinese Thais (4,3,2,1......... Maddy ) do business here. When there is a drop in sales volume they stick the prices up.

As far as I am concerned they can stick their business rationale up their bums along with their pies and cheese.

PP, that's probably the processed stuff that comes in Edam, Gouda, Cheddar, Vintage etc...horrible but edible and the best cheese value for now.

For years I bought several at a time of those spreadable butters for the freezer, for convenient use as required till the next topup...started at 63 about 5 years ago, and as a regular item I kept my eye on the price as it rose, then over the next couple of years eased up to the 80s, another couple of years to hit 94...next I knew, about a year ago, having dumped 8 in the cart and pissed off and returned to a ranting tirak on the wrong side of the cashier, the same 94 bt butter from the previous week was 180. It still is, in all the supers.

    Easy solution, don't buy it.
