I have to agree with Tel on this one. I'd never come here before I worked here and I enjoy the buzz of this place far more than say Nana - I mean that is really the arsehole of Bangers.

Okay, that does make abit of a difference I guess as I am assuming customers are not reporting to you or staff, just the management.

^^ I just sent the fokwit home and not to come back.

I caught him drinking beer in the morning out of a mug. Checked the cameras and he'd also been adding vodka into a jug of water. I just happened to of been drinking when he came back for his shift, I was showing the manager that he has to be strong with his staff. He seemed reluctant to tell him to go so I merely showed that it is not tolerated.

Good decision.

I sacked a valuable staff member for falling asleep on night shift because he passed out drunk. I had to come in at 1am to finish the job while he snored on the floor at my feet. He told me it wasn't deserved!

We've only just set up, you have to mould from the outset a NO Tolerence policy. It's a shame because normally they are the best staff work wise that I lose.

Yeah, I wanted to get rid of him; but have agreed with my co-partner to extend his probation.

He's merely there to control staff and do training also he "can" be good with customers, though not experienced enough for General Management which I do require someday soon.

Yes, that is a source of great irritation to me too.

People suggesting that certain places are 'the best in Bangkok' because they are the best Sukhumvit has to offer annoy me too.

Saying that, since I came here in my mid 20's I have always preferred to drink with the snozzled old sexpat characters in proper boozers rather than the Lonely Planet clutching flashpackers called Tarquin and Saffron that KSR seems to attract, so it's Sukhumvit over KSR for me if I had to choose.
