    Cry me a River

Found this little baby in a field about 50 meters behind my house (equidistant to two other houses) while playing with my dog yesterday.

Took it to the police station and the cops sorta laughed it off with a those-crazy-kids remark directed at a small technical college about a half mile away. Their response was wholly expected. The cop said he could fill out a report but nothing would likely be done about it. We said, "forget it." He made some comment to the effect that it's probably a kid of some military guy or policeman showing off to his friends. There are no military bases nearby.

There was no evidence that it was expended where I found it -- no burnt grass or charred ground. But the cops didn't ask any questions. All mouth, no ears. They clearly didn't want to be bothered -- fucking hopeless. It's not rusted at all, so I imagine it hadn't been there long.

I tend to look at this a something much more significant than fireworks or a few beer bottles. Slightly less than finding an unloaded gun.

    What do you think?

It looks very dangerous to me, but it has obviously come from the western world. the English proves that.

Is that a bullet hole in it? I'd be more worried about guns being fired near your property than a bit of teargas.

No it's the safety. It is nothing more than a pepper spray canister.

Looks like someone has shot a slug through it, probably kids, (but that covers a wide age range here...4-90) yes, but where the hell did they get that from! Has it got any other markings? Like Best Before Date or something, there must be a way of tracing where it came from, batch codes etc. etc.

Exactly, BBE of...will also have a production date, this is surely US ISO 9000, You will be able to trace it back to the last person that handled it before wiping their ass! it will have 100% traceability, for those that want to trace....however, local plod are as much use as a Chocolate fireguard! They couldn't even trace their own footsteps, because they are nothing short of SHITE! Please, if there is a god, burn these fuckers first, followed by the orange mafia in their disgusting orange frocks that conceal their disgusting tatoos! please, a prayer for Jesus! (Unemployable THIEVES ans BANDITS...rot in HELL) Normally, I wouldn't express such views being a liberal.
