F**king hell, my dad has been dragging us along the South West Coastal Path, Cornwall, where he lives, and on sunday we clocked up 11 miles incliding 3 miles of agonising trudging along the wet sandy soft beach to Hayle.

The temperature is ok, well once you get walking, and the air is nice after the fumes of Bangkok after all these years.

But I'd kill to be on Jomtiem Beach on a jetski watching the city light up from 2km out to sea.

Oh well, can't have it all.
